Wedding Cake Topper

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

Ok, so I just got back from a wedding and with all the pictures I took at a wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two albums for wedding. You can be sure that I will develop every single picture and that every photo of every single person with all of that decor will end up in a wedding book. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.

Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. The place I shopped not only had the beach wedding album I wanted, but so many more accessories to go with it. I found the cutest little beach chairs as place card holders that they can use for their favorite little photo later. I really liked them and I’m sure our guests did too. The beach wedding favors I chose for our guests made the perfect little thank you gifts. We bought them little tea lights in the shape of sand castles to represent our ocean view reception. There was so many terrific accessories and beach decor for our reception tables and our wedding table. They had the perfect crystal stemware, serving set for the wedding cake, wine glasses and a gorgeous beach themed wedding cake toppers on our amazing wedding cake.

Some of the guests were commenting on the amazing decor for our reception tables. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few torches here and there. With all the accessories and supplies for the wedding and beach party reception, it made planning so much easier. The beautiful ocean whitecaps and the warm sandy beach made the perfect dream wedding and reception location.

There are also baby shower favors that come in five piece sets that include things like a star is born bottle stopper in adorable showcase display box and ‘about to hatch chicken egg’. Trust me, that can really help out a couple just starting out on a life together. They have great deals on unique wedding favorsthat are affordable and great deals that are hard to come by and what a great opportunity this would be to have the wedding you always wanted. In these times we can all use a good deal.
There is so much to choose from for the nicest of gifts for your guests, to show them how much they mean to you.

15 Tips – How to Save Money on Your Wedding

1. Finding a good photographer can be really expensive. Try going to websites like craig list. Leave a message saying that you are looking for a photographer. You will get many answers, and most people are photography students, or graduates looking for their break, and are going to be much cheaper.
2. Decorate your cake. Look for designs on the internet of what you would like your cake to look like. Buy a plain cake and find a friend or a family member who can decorate it for you with fresh flowers, or anything else you would like to use.
3. Have your ceremony and reception at the same place. Often you’ll be able to get a better deal and you transportation costs will be lower.
4. Buy your own alcohol. Shop around to find great prices. Most people will be willing to cut you a deal when you buy a few cases. Also, you can return any left over alcohol and get some money back.
5. Buy larger flowers. The bigger the flowers the less you will need for decorations and for your bridal bouquet.
6. Buy your dress rather than having it made, it’s going to save you a lot of money.
7. Buy shoes that you will be able to wear again. The shoes don’t have to be white, but they should match the color scheme of your wedding.

Looking for wedding theme ideas for wedding favors? Here is one – party in a flapper/gangster/old hollywood style! My husband and I did! It was the most fun and memorable experience for not only us but also most of our guests. Deviate from a regular norm and you will make a special event for your guests that they will always remember. Not only will it be a special day in your life but it will be a memorable day for your guests as well. So you aks us how did we do it? Here are some tips.

Instead of just serving them wine why not also give them some wine wedding favors. These are not only nice to look at items but will also make for some practical wedding favors

IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT YOU

Instead of planning a wedding reception where everything is about us, we took a different approach. By going with an unconventional theme, we gave ourselves a great basis for thinking outside the box. The number one goal in the planning process was to entertain our guests, make sure that everyone is having fun, and that they remember our wedding as one of the greatest parties they have gone to. It worked! Almost three years later, and we still get raving feedback about how cool everything turned out.

HELP YOUR GUESTS GET IN THE GROOVE

Once we decided on the theme, the ball started rolling. We researched ideas, historical date about the 1920-1930 period, fashion trends, musical and cultural clues – all the information helped with incorporating cool ideas into the wedding reception, our outfits, wedding invitations. Most importanly, we have designed a flapper theme website and posted links and suggestion for our guests on there. By doing extra work and providing ideas to your invitees, you show to them that you care and that you want them to be part of the event. Not everyone maybe familiar with the flapper era, and honestly, not everyone may have the time or the drive to do the research themselves. If you want your guests to parttake in the theme, help them out. After all if you provide them with some candle wedding favors it will light up the place.
